Cleaning labels are ordered by quantity, so the first few ingredients tell you most of what you need to know. If water is first, you are mostly paying to ship dilution. If a long chain of solvents and preservatives sits at the top, that is the product.
Watch for generic “fragrance” or “parfum” — a catch-all that can hide dozens of undisclosed compounds. Look out for parabens, chlorine bleach where you did not ask for it, and alcohols listed high on a wipe formula meant for skin. “Antibacterial” and “natural” are not the same as independently tested.

If you can scan the panel in a minute and still know what will touch your skin, your laundry, and the drain — that is a label doing its job.
